This illustration was create for and published by The Author Magazine (the Society of Authors’ quarterly magazine), Issue 33, Spring of the 2022, to cover the article "The forever war" by Adrian Hon. In this article, Adrian H. reviews John Thompson’s Book Wars, a look back at the last ten years of digital publishing which "provides a crisp, systematic review of how the ‘digital revolution’ has shaped the last decade of book publishing".
